We make your AV investments deliver results for you. Robust Audio Visual (AV) systems and environments built precisely around your specific needs and objectives.
In plain speak, we are a global supplier of integrated audio-visual systems and communications technology. We design, integrate, install and maintain robust AV systems and environments.
But how we do it isn’t quite so plain.
Our roots go back to 1954 when Roy Snelling started his business selling and servicing television and radio sets in the earliest days of broadcasting.
Roy witnessed a major transformation as more and more TV and Radio sets found a place in homes- there was a whole new way for people to interact, engage and consume information
The same purpose for which many AV systems and environments are designed and built for today.
Over the years our experience led us to ask ourselves - “How can we use the potential in AV systems and environments to unlock possibilities to better interact and engage with audiences”?
As we grew and evolved, everything we learnt along the way was nurtured in our internal culture, design and engineering philosophy. At the same time, we continue to uphold the Snelling Philosophy - Audio Visual excellence. Operational simplicity.
Today we are one of the fastest growing Audio Visual integration specialists in the UK, and part of the largest, most comprehensive AV/IT network of its kind in the world. We deliver all aspects of audio-visual integration from design to supply, installation and on-going maintenance - all backed by a service ethic, that continues to carry the Snelling signature of quality.
Our portfolio covers major global projects for clients around the world across higher education, corporate, healthcare, public sector, retail and specialist niche projects.
Roy did not just start a business. He dedicated a large part of his life to build a highly successful group of companies spanning commercial audio visual and consumer electronics.
After the Second World War, when he served with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers training radio machinists across the country, he started his business from a redundant Victorian laundry at Blofield Heath (Norfolk).
The location is now home to the Snelling Museum with a collection of radio and TV sets, and advertising signs from back in the day.
The responsibility of running the Snelling group companies was inherited by the R.C. Snelling Charitable Trust. Roy established the trust specifically to reinvest profits into securing the group's future, exceptional service for clients, guaranteeing employment for staff, and support for the local community.
More importantly, the trust ensures that the group companies operate in accordance with Roy’s beliefs and ethics, or what is referred to as 'Snelling Signature of Quality'.

Although profitability is important, we are different from a normal company which exists to maximise shareholders’ wealth and return profits to shareholders. This allows our staff to freely make recommendations on the right specifications suited to your project, and not what is necessarily most profitable for us.
This difference has always held us in good stead in building long-term relationships with clients over time.
Today, the Snelling Group includes companies specialising in the Design, Service and Installation of audio visual equipment in both the consumer retail and commercial AV space.
Carrying forward the vision and zeal with which Roy Snelling started his business, the Snelling Group companies continue to evolve, diversify and grow within our respective markets.
One thing, however, remains the same - the unwavering commitment to Roy's ethos of "customer first" that earned us our name.
