In spite of icy roads and arctic temperatures, Snelling Business Systems warmly welcomed clients from around Norfolk to their Christmas drinks reception on 2nd December.
The evening was hosted by Managing Director, Toby Wise, as well as members of the Snellings Board of Trustees and a number of Toby's team, and was well attended by many representatives from the company's local clientele.
The event was held in the Weston Room of the Cathedral's newly refurbished hostry, for which Snelling Business Systems were delighted to install the audio visual requirements earlier in the year, attending an opening by Her Majesty the Queen in May. The evening was therefore wonderful opportunity for them to showcase some of their work, including the hi-tech interactive screens which blend seamlessly into the fabric of the building.
Guests enjoyed the opportunity to taste an extensive collection of wines from around the world and there was a competition to win £100 worth of Christmas wines courtesy of suppliers Premium Wine Collections Limited. In addition, guests were treated to a selection of sumptuous canapés supplied by Norwich Cathedral Refectory, including stilton tart topped with walnuts, caviar topped smoked salmon on potato blinis and mini cinnamon scones with whisky cream.
2010 has been a successful year for the national audio visual specialists. Having enjoyed another 12 months of growth, Snelling Business Systems were also once again shortlisted for a prestigious AV Award in September and are celebrating, having recently been appointed as the top ranked supplier in the highly competitive Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium.
