Snelling Business Systems is delighted to announce that they have fulfilled a contract to install the audio visual requirements for two major AV installations at the University of Northampton.
Based in the heart of England, the University of Northampton, which delivers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in wide range of subjects, is currently undergoing a dramatic and extensive programme of redevelopment, including an extension to the University's Business School and a development of the School of Education.
Approaching Snelling Business Systems through the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC), the University of Northampton outlined a brief to deliver the audio visual installation and management for both the Business School and the School of Education projects.
As the key to delivering the exact requirements of the brief was to fully appreciate the needs of the end users, Snelling Business Systems adopted a partnership approach to their proposal and took time to meet with the university's management and staff, to incorporate their requirements into the proposal. Drawing on their extensive knowledge and experience of other higher education AV projects, Snelling Business Systems were also able to advise on technologies being adopted by other universities.
Although the constraints of the buildings and the individual requirements for the Business School and the School of Education projects varied, Snelling Business Systems took into account the university's overall objectives and strategy, to deliver an all-encompassing AV solution which reflected consistency and operational simplicity for its end users, rather than a per-project outcome.
