Snelling Business Systems is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the coveted Occupational Health and Safety Management System [OHSAS 18001: 2007 certification] by the International Organisation for Standardisation.
This internationally recognized assessment specification for occupational health and safety management systems was developed by a selection of leading trade bodies, international standards and certification bodies. Its purpose is to promote a safe and healthy working environment by providing a framework that allows the member organization to consistently identify and control its health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, aid legislative compliance and improve overall performance.
The accreditation is another important step in the company's continuing growth, as it continues to expand its staffing levels due to consistent increase in demand.

To qualify for the accreditation, Snelling Business Systems has undergone a number of audits and assessments to appraise their already robust approach to health and safety. As a result of this, an ongoing programme of training for all installation staff has been implemented, along with some minor changes in the way they operate.
