National company Snelling Business Systems is delighted to announce the appointment of Steve Royans to the newly created role of Sales Manager.
Snelling Business Systems was established almost 10 years ago to meet an increasing demand in the market for audio visual integration and now employs 15 full time members of staff from their offices at Blofield Heath in Norfolk. Their goal, to combine audio visual excellence with operational simplicity for companies throughout the UK, delivered with the outstanding customer service which is synonymous with the Snelling name, has seen the company grow year on year. High profile clients include the BBC, the Constabulary, HM Treasury, Lotus, Ministry of Justice, NHS, Shell, and Colleges and Universities nationwide.
In the last 12 months Snelling Business Systems has been awarded a number of prestigious and high profile contracts. This has necessitated in a company re-structure and the expansion of the dedicated sales and technical team to design systems and work with clients on their individual requirements.
Steve Royans has been in the audio visual industry for over 10 years, starting his career in custom home installations. He joined the Snelling Group in 2003 as an installation engineer and has since undertaken HNC Computing, Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) and manufacturer training. With a background in engineering, he transferred to sales as a Technical Sales Executive, where he has been instrumental in securing key contracts. In addition to the new management responsibilities he will be tackling, Steve is also studying for his CMI Diploma in Management and Leadership.

To complement Steve's appointment, Snelling Business Systems have restructured their staff to create a sales team of four, who will be responsible for promotional events, marketing, and client liaison, as well as securing new contracts to ensure the ongoing success of the company. Each of their sales team has worked on the engineering side of the business and will therefore give clients a practical experience which is invaluable when designing technical audio visual solutions. In addition, Snelling Business Systems has also recently appointed an apprentice to train with their engineers.
