Snelling Business Systems is delighted to announce the appointment of Jessica Aden-Warnes to the role of Business Development Executive.
Jessica joins the company following her graduation from the University of East Anglia this year, where she achieved a first class honours degree in Business Computing.
The role of Business Development Executive meets a need within the company for a dedicated liaison with higher education establishments in the south of England. Design, supply and installation of audio visual equipment to this sector has been a corner stone of Snelling Business Systems since it was established over 10 years ago. However, the company's appointment as Top Ranked Supplier within the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium in September 2010, combined with their ongoing successes in this field, including being shortlisted for a prestigious AV award for educational instalments for the last three consecutive years, has seen this area of the business flourish.

Therefore it is important to recognise this, with a dedicated team member who is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with higher education providers throughout the south of England."
As well as achieving her Business Computing degree, Jessica has a number of years experience working within the corporate sector. In addition to her most recent role, delivering support from the IT helpdesk at the City College, Jessica has also worked with Lotus for four years where she gained valuable experience in logistics and supplier liaison.
The role at Snelling Business Systems has entailed a full month's comprehensive induction programme, during which Jessica has worked hand-in-hand with the company's in-house technicians and engineers to fully understand the technical aspect of audio visual integration. As product knowledge is critical for the role, part of her induction process has also involved Jessica undertaking an extensive training programme with Snelling's partners and suppliers, so Jessica received technical training at Panasonic's experience centre at Pinewood Studios, as well as touring a number of their most cutting-edge installations up and down the UK. Jessica has also completed the Extron AV Associate Certified Training Program, passing the exam to qualify her as an AV Extron Associate.

Having completed her induction Jessica will now embark on establishing links with higher education providers throughout the south of England.

The position of Business Development Executive Is the second appointment at Snelling Business Systems in as many months. Nikki Friend-O'Brien also joins the company this month, in a new role within the administration team. Formerly at Carillion, Nikki brings invaluable experience having managed a team of six staff in the company's busy financial department.
