BACKGROUND
In September 2010, following a successful tender submission, Snelling Business Systems were appointed to design and install the state-of-the-art audio visual requirements for the Morston Assets 'Yours Networks' building.
Located in the heart of King's Lynn, this new centre has been created within one of the stunning heritage properties edging the town's historic market place and the resultant refurbishment has created a contemporary and vibrant business hub. As well as a cutting-edge entrance lobby and business lounge, the building features meeting rooms and conference suites equipped with the latest in HD video conferencing, as well as exclusive private office space.
Snelling Business Systems delivered the intergraded audio visual systems for the project to budget and within the allocated schedule in time for the building's champagne launch and opening by Henry Bellingham MP and Under Secretary of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in early March 2011.
AIMS OF THE PROJECT
Morston Assets has created the 'Yours Networks' concept to give businesses the accessibility to superior quality conferencing facilities, in order to create links with both national and international markets without the need to leave the office.
The centres form an essential element of the Yours Communities initiative, which has been pioneered by Morston Asssets and focuses on the development of large regeneration projects which combine sustainable building methods with close attention to how communities function.
As the national network of 'Yours Networks' grows, so will the structure and accessibility. The King's Lynn centre is one of the first in a planned complex up and down the UK, which is already underway in Nantwich and Gateshead, and plans are in place to begin the Staffordshire and Scotland networks in 2012.
With outstanding delivery of high end HD conferencing at the heart of the project's success, Snelling Business Systems worked hand-in-hand with Morston Assets to ensure that the audio visual element of the development met the requirements of their client's vision.
TECHNICAL SOLUTION
To deliver the high specification HD Video Conferencing requirements throughout the building, Snelling Business Systems provided a Mobile Dual Screen Full HD Video Conference Solution, consisting of Mitsubishi LCD Slim Bezel 16:9 full HD screen, TeamMate executive furniture and Lifesize video conferencing equipment.
The conference rooms were equipped with TeamMate furniture, Smart interactive technologies, Full HD projection and LCD screens, analogue and digital connectivity, push button control and a mobile document camera.
In addition, the Business Lounge was fitted with a ceiling mounted full HD signage screen with digital signage software and a ceiling mounted Full HD TV screen.
As well as providing the design and installation of the high end audio visual requirements for the project, Snelling Business Systems supplied full documentation and training for all equipment.
